Siksasudhara.com is an independent initiative, created to bring improvements to Nepal’s basic education system by encouraging administrators, teachers, and students alike to pursue the highest levels of excellence possible in all areas of school life.

Inspired by an American volunteer who spent a full year serving in basic schools in South India and Nepal, at the heart of the growing leadership team is a fervent desire to elevate the quality of basic education in the greater Kathmandu area and beyond.

While the Siksasudhara.com American team will organize and provide infrastructure and resources, the programs will be managed directly by active educators in Kathmandu with the goal of spreading the activities into other cities and outlying areas of Nepal.

Siksasudhara.com will provide opportunities for professional and personal growth through live and online conferences and training sessions, customized teaching resources and student activities, and one-on-one consultations provided by experienced educators and counselors to assist local administrators in the pursuit of excellence in all areas of the education system.
Our Belief:
Any contribution of time, talent, and/or resources is of value. Good teachers are known for their ability to work wonders in humble circumstances.
With that said, we are committed to providing educators with the best tools possible to guide young people to their full potential.
Our Mission:
To elevate the quality of basic education in Nepal by offering a range of activities that include: 1. Conferences that encourage and inspire educators; 2. Training that equips teachers with improved teaching methods; 3. Programs for students to foster positive character and virtues; and 4. Support to school leadership in the pursuit of excellence in all areas of operation.
