Jeff Harvey
Founder, Facilitator
“Mr. Jeff” is an experienced humanitarian servant, administrator, public speaker, musician and media producer, who recently completed a year as a volunteer teacher in South India and Nepal. He worked for over a decade with poverty alleviation efforts and the immigrant crisis on the US/Mexico border. Mr. Jeff was closely involved with a home for disabled children and adults, and served underprivileged families, the homeless, and incarcerated men, both in the US and Mexico. He has led countless workshops on character development for young people, encouraging them to pursue global virtues such as kindness, honestly, responsibility, discipline, courage, and whole-life stewardship.
Saroj Chettri
Nonprofit & Community Development Professional
Mr. Chettri, a Nepal native, is a nonprofit professional with over 15 years of experience in program management, community development, and capacity building in the international development sector. Saroj holds a Master's Degree in both Social Work and International Development and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at Eastern University, Pennsylvania. He has worked extensively with World Vision in Nepal and Timor-Leste, managing area programs focused on livelihood, education, health, nutrition, and child protection. Additionally, he served Habitat for Humanity as a Neighborhood Revitalization Manager. Currently, he serves as the Love Your Block Administrator at Pottstown Community Action, developing outreach plans and supporting administrative work. Saroj's skills include project management, liaising with government and NGO stakeholders, staff training, and budgeting.
Sabina Giri
Environmental/Geographical Information Analyst
Ms. Giri is an Environmental/Geographical Information Analyst and has worked in the Environmental Consulting field for over 15 years. She left Nepal at 20 years old and moved to the U.S. with a dream of doing something big. Since then, she has constantly challenged herself to grow positively and help others. Sabina has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from University of San Francisco and Geographical Information Science (GIS) from University of Redlands. She is committed to combating global challenges by collaborating with businesses, organizations, and people to develop initiatives to transition from existing linear business models to more sustainable and resilient circular models. In addition to her active and passionate volunteer work, Sabina teaches Environmental Science at San Jose State University. She has a huge heart and desire to help improve basic education in her home country of Nepal.
Andrew Cohen
Instructional Designer, Learning Sciences Expert
Andrew is an instructional designer, leveraging the science of learning to help young people unlock their potential and flourish. He holds a master's degree from Harvard University's Mind, Brain, & Education program, where he specialized in Educational Psychology and Intervention Science. He also holds bachelor's degrees in Neuroscience, Curriculum & Instruction, and is a licensed teacher in Biology and ESoL. His prior experiences include work with Explo at Yale University, the Next Level Lab at Harvard's Project Zero, and the Parsons School of Design in New York City. Andrew co-founded “NeuroDev,” a student well-being nonprofit funded by Harvard’s Innovation Labs. NeuroDev was successful in getting science backed well-being interventions into more than 150 high school classrooms.

Disu Manandhar
Child Expert, Trainer, Counselor
Born and raised in Kathmandu, Ms. Disu Manandhar had been dedicated to the field of education for 23 years and has extensive experience working with children. She has been nurturing young minds, spanning ages from 2 to 21, helping to foster their growth and development. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in child development, Disu is an established educator, counselor, trainer, and child expert. She is driven by a passion to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and those involved in their upbringing.
Shirjana Pokharel
ECD Certified Trainer, ICDP Facilitator
Ms. Shirjana Pokharel an Early Childhood Development (ECD) certified trainer, International Childhood Development Program (ICDP) facilitator, and the Principal/Founder of Ankur Pre-School in Kathmandu where she has served as Principal for over a decade. Shirjana has been concentrating her efforts on professional training and collaboration in the greater Kathmandu area for several years and brings her diverse expertise to such topics as curriculum development, classroom management, creative material crafting, storytelling techniques, game design, theme-based decorations, and numerous other pedagogical dimensions. She has been deeply committed to fostering educational excellence at both the pre-primary and primary levels and is making a notable contribution to the growth and development of young learners and educators alike.
Muna Karki
Training & Teacher Relations
A committed teaching professional, ​Ms. Muna Karki worked for nearly a decade with middle and secondary school students, during which time she enriched her training in the intensive Primary Teacher's Training Program (PTTP), jointly organized by the Rato Bangala School, London's Bank Street College of Education, and Kathmandu University. Muna is co-founder of the Bramha Kunja School where she also serves as a school administrator and teachers' trainer. She is committed to assisting educators to improve their teaching methods and stay current with newer teaching trends, and to help children achieve the highest quality education by nurturing their intelligence and learning styles so that they can grow into competent and compassionate adult citizens.
Anil Pandit
Leadership Consultant
Mr. Anil Pandit, an active school principal from Kathmandu, received a master's degree in Developmental Studies and has been teaching since 2000. He is the co-founder and principal of Bramha Kunja Shikshya Sadan, a PreK – 10th grade school now in its ninth academic year. Working as a professional educator, school administrator and counselor, Anil strives to provide an exemplary all-round platform for social, emotional, physical and cognitive development for the student body at his school. He is known locally as an innovator in the field of school leadership.
